About Keegan O'Brien

My Story
I have had a very deep-rooted love of dressage since I was 10 years old. At that age, I began competing on my Arabian gelding at Training Level. Through a lot of hard work and determination, I worked up the levels and have gone on to represent Region 2 at the NAJYRC Championships three times. I have also had the opportunity to compete at the Festival of Champions, Dressage at Devon, and on the Florida circuit.
I was a full-time working student for Amanda Johnson for 5 years and worked closely with her until her passing. Over the past several years I have been fortunate enough to the clinic regularly with Conrad Schumacher, and also with Stephan Peters, Suzanne Von Dietz, Charlotte Bredahl-Baker and Lendon Grey.
I have earned my USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals having competed many times through the Grand Prix level. I sincerely hope to one day represent the US at the Olympics.
I currently live onsite at our training facility, located at New Beginnings Farms in Mukwonago, so I personally put hands and eyes on all of my training horses each and every day. I welcome all breeds of horses into training and all levels of riders.
